Marisa Macy, Ph.D. Biography: Marisa Macy, Ph.D. teaches early childhood classes at the University of Central Florida. She does research related to young children with disabilities. Dr. Macy is the principal investigator for the Florida Technical Assistance & Training System. She received master's and doctoral degrees in special education from the University of Oregon with an emphasis on early intervention and early childhood special education. Her research interests include assessment of children 0–8 with delays, developmental screening, play, and personnel preparation.
