The Words and Gestures E-Form, part of the third edition of the MacArthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventories (CDIs), is a comprehensive instrument designed for use with ages 8 to 18 months. To complete the inventory, parents document the child’s understanding and production of hundreds of early vocabulary items. Then, parents record communicative and symbolic gestures the child has tried or completed.
The form is a fillable PDF that can be emailed to families. It includes some totaling functionality to help reduce the amount of time needed to score the inventory. Customers will receive an email after purchase with directions on how to access and download the form. Adobe Acrobat is required for use.
