Roberta Gentry
Roberta Gentry, Ph.D., received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology with a minor in
sociology from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia. She worked as a neuropsychological
test technician and at state and private psychiatric hospitals prior to completing a master
of teaching degree at the University of Virginia. She spent almost twenty years in the public
school setting as a special education teacher and special education administrator prior
to completing her doctoral degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. Currently, Dr.
Gentry is Assistant Professor of Special Education at the University of Mary Washington
in Virginia.
