Michael Solis, Ph.D.

Dr. Solis recently completed his Ph.D. in special education at the University
of Texas at Austin. He is a former special educator and reading specialist/
coach. His research focuses on vocabulary and reading comprehension
interventions for students in Grades 4—8. Dr. Solis serves as project director
for the Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk, where he leads
the implementation of randomized controlled trials and single-subject and
qualitative studies.
