Richard G. Schwartz is a speech-language pathologist who has conducted research
on typical and atypical language acquisition in toddlers and school-age children. His
research interests have included early phonology and lexical acquisition in children
with specifi c language impairment (SLI), lexical and sentence processing in children
with SLI, children with auditory processing disorders, and the neurological bases of
childhood language impairments. He has published extensively in these areas.
