Heather L. Rouse, Ph.D.
Heather L. Rouse, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Iowa State University and Director of Iowa's Integrated Data System for Decision‐Making (I2D2.iastate.edu). She received her Ph.D. in School, Community, and Clinical Child Psychology from the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research and teaching areas include early childhood systems, child development, risk and resilience, academic achievement, and home visiting. As an academic partner she has worked for over 2 decades at the intersection of research and policy with municipal and state government, public and private service organizations, and local community planning stakeholders.
