Suzie McKinnon, Ph.D.

Suzie McKinnon, Ph.D., is an institutional researcher in a research partnership involving the Centre intégré universitaire de Santé et de Services sociaux (CIUSSS) of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, Centre intégré de Santé et de Services sociaux (CISSS) of Bas-Saint-Laurent, and CISSS of Côte-Nord. She also is a researcher at the Institut universitaire en déficience intellectuelle et trouble du spectre de l'autisme at CIUSSS Mauricie-et-du-Centre-du-Québec.

Dr. McKinnon is interested in detection and screening of developmental delays, social-emotional difficulties, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her work focuses on interventions for parents of children with ASD (parent training program) as well as the contribution of individual factors to the adjustment of parents and their children with intellectual disabilities (ID). She continues her collaboration with Dr. Dionne on the psychometric properties of ASQ® and ASQ®:SE. She has offered numerous training sessions to early childhood practitioners.
