Yi Song, Ph.D., Associate Research Scientist, Cognitive and Learning Sciences Group,
Educational Testing Service; Princeton, New Jersey; [email protected]. Dr. Song’s research
interests and expertise are in the field of argumentation, including argumentative writing,
argumentation learning progressions, and argumentation strategies. Currently, she is collaborating
closely with researchers, assessment development staff, and classroom teachers
to validate argumentation learning progressions, to develop formative assessments aligned
to the progressions, and to create teacher support materials.
