Donna Carlson Yerby, M.Ed., Educational Specialist, UNC; Chapel Hill, North Carolina;
[email protected]. Ms. Yerby is involved in research, clinical evaluations,
and outreach services at the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities at the UNC
School of Medicine. She taught Grades K—12
and was formerly a clinical instructor at
the UNC School of Education. As Director of Professional Development at All Kinds of
Minds Institute, she developed instructional materials for understanding learning differences
and trained clinicians in dynamic assessment methods. Ms. Yerby has published and
presented on learning disabilities, differentiation of instruction, postsecondary education
initiatives, and educational reform.
