Tran Nguyen, M.A. is CEO of Vietclever, an education company providing services for children with autism in Hanoi, Vietnam. She is also a consultant for several early intervention centers for children with special needs, focusing on improving or modifying early intervention programs and training for teachers. She recently worked on her own study targeted for parents of children with autism to improve their skills and knowledge related to managing their children’s behavior and promoting their communication at home. Ms. Nguyen has 12 years of experience in the field of early childhood and special education/early intervention. She has working experience with children with autism, children with challenging behaviors and language delay, and children with social-emotional problems in both Vietnam and the U.S. She received her B.A. in Early Childhood Education in 2004 at National College for Education, then received a post-program degree in Early Childhood Education at Hanoi University of Education in 2006. She received another B.A. in Special Education at the National College for Education in Hanoi. In 2010, she received a Fulbright scholarship and attended the University of Oregon. She obtained her Master’s in Special Education concentrating on Early Childhood Education in 2012.
