Simon Wallace, Ph.D.
Simon Wallace, Ph.D., completed his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees
at the University of London. He has conducted research across a variety of fields,
including genetic phenotyping, cognitive neuroscience, diagnosis, and technology
interventions. In 2008 he left academic research to work for Autism Speaks as
Director of Scientific Development in Europe and since 2011 as Research Director
for Autistica. Prior to his leaving research, Dr. Sarah Parsons and he researched
the usefulness of virtual reality tools (an immersive room and a desktop computer
system) in the future education of children with autism.
