Ms. Fan received an M.S. in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt
University in 2011. She is currently working toward a Ph.D. under the advisory
of Adam W. Anderson, from the Department of Biomedical Engineering,
and Laurie E. Cutting, from the Peabody College of Education and
Human Development. Her research interests include diffusion tensor MRI,
high-angular resolution diffusion imaging, and the investigation of neurocorrelates
of reading ability using imaging techniques.
