Paula J. Schwanenflugel, Ph.D.
Dr. Schwanenflugel teaches graduate and undergraduate courses for educators on educational
psychology, human development, and psycholinguistics. Her research interests include early
literacy, reading fluency, and vocabulary development and their instruction. She has authored
or coauthored four books and numerous articles and chapters on early literacy and conceptual
development in young children, among other topics.
