'The test meets its goals of providing an instrument that is brief, easy for parents to complete, and is effective in distinguishing between children with and without social-emotional competence problems.'
Kelly Isrow, Associate Coordinator Great Start Collaborative, TA Specialist, Oakland Schools Early Childhood - November 3, 2015
ASQ:SE-2 has more areas where parents can document specific concerns or issues in detail. That information is critical for the professionals scoring ASQ:SE-2 … In general, the advanced scoring system [with the addition of the monitoring zone] makes ASQ:SE-2 a stronger screening tool, and with the ability to calculate allowable exceptions due to diversity [with adjusted scoring], it is much more parent friendly.
Jennifer Shopp, Community of Recover Aiding Families in Transition (C.R.A.F.T) - November 3, 2015
"The 2 month questionnaire was very on point … I also appreciated the informational summary sheet and its similarity to ASQ-3, which I currently use."
Ruth Seedorf, Baby Bear Hugs - November 3, 2015
"It is helpful to have the option of the 2 month questionnaire! The parenting educators that deliver ASQ:SE-2 will be happy to have an earlier option to help answer questions or concerns that parents bring up and to address their own concerns."
