Andrea Tartaro, Ph.D.
Andrea Tartaro, Ph.D., received her Ph.D. in technology and social behavior,
a joint Ph.D. in the areas of computer science and communication studies, from
Northwestern University. As part of her graduate work, she designed and evaluated
technology interventions with social group programs for children with autism.
She is currently an assistant professor of computer science at Furman University in
Greenville, South Carolina, and previously taught computer science at Union College
in Schenectady, New York. She also has a B.A. in computer science from Brown
University, an M.A. in instructional technology from Teachers College, Columbia
University, and an M.S. in computer science from Northwestern University.
